To judge whether the running speed of the five-axis injection molding manipulator is reasonable, the core is to look at the four dimensions of running stability, production efficiency, product quality and equipment loss, which need to be comprehensively judged by combining the actual running state and production data. The specific methods are as follows:
Observe the operation stability, and there is no abnormal action.
At a reasonable speed, the five-axis linkage of the manipulator is smooth, and there is no obvious jamming, jitter or emergency stop.
If the mechanical arm shakes and the product swings greatly when picking up the parts, it means that the speed of the corresponding shaft section is too fast;
If each axis moves slowly and the idle travel time is too long, it means that the speed setting is low and does not match the equipment performance.
At the same time, it is necessary to check the linkage and coordination with the injection molding machine: the picking action of the manipulator needs to be accurately connected with the mold opening and thimble action of the injection molding machine, and there is no waiting overtime or action interference.
Check the production efficiency and match the beat demand.
The picking cycle of manipulator should be adapted to the molding cycle of injection molding machine, and the core standard of reasonable speed is not to slow down the overall production beat, nor to blindly speed up and cause invalid air consumption.
Calculate the time-consuming of single picking: at a reasonable speed, the time-consuming of the whole picking process (from the origin to picking and then returning to the place) should be ≤ the cooling setting time of the injection molding machine;
Statistical hourly capacity: if the actual capacity is lower than the theoretical capacity, and the factors of mold and raw materials are excluded, the high probability is that the manipulator takes the parts slowly; If frequent downtime is caused by too fast speed, it means that the speed is beyond the bearing range of equipment or products.
Check the product quality, no damage or defect.
The speed setting directly affects the quality of the product after picking, which is an intuitive and key judgment basis.
If the product is scratched, deformed, damaged by flash, or the insert is displaced, and the mold of the injection part is pulled, the speed of the picking operation section is too fast, and the mechanical arm collides or rubs with the product and the mold;
If the product is not damaged and the placement position is accurate, it shows that the speed setting of each stage of picking is suitable for the product characteristics.
Monitor the equipment loss, and there is no sign of overload.
Under long-term operation, unreasonable speed will aggravate equipment wear, which can be judged by the following two points:
Listen to the running noise: when the speed is reasonable, the running noise of the motor, guide rail and reducer is stable and there is no sharp noise; If there is a high-frequency howling or impact sound, it means that the mechanical structure is stressed too much because of too fast speed;
Check the status of components: regularly check the temperature rise of the motor, the wear degree of the guide rail and the service life of the suction cup/fixture. If the motor is overheated frequently, the wear of the guide rail is accelerated and the fixture is easy to be damaged, the high probability is that the speed setting exceeds the rated load speed of the equipment.
