What should we pay attention to when using the injection manipulator to pick up parts?
There are many matters needing attention in the process of taking parts by the injection manipulator, covering all links before, during and after operation. The following details are introduced:
Before operation
Inspection equipment: Carefully inspect the mechanical structure of the manipulator, including joints, connecting rods and fixtures for looseness, wear or damage. Check the electrical system to ensure that the wires are not damaged, the plugs and sockets are firmly connected, and the sensors and controllers are working normally.
Confirm parameters: According to the shape, size, weight and other characteristics of the injected product, confirm whether the parameters of the picking program of the manipulator, such as motion trajectory, speed, acceleration and grasping strength, are set correctly, so as to avoid picking failure or damaging the product due to improper parameters.
Cleaning the working area: clean up the sundries and dust around the injection molding machine and the manipulator to prevent sundries from entering the manipulator or affecting its movement during the picking process, and at the same time keep the working environment clean and tidy for easy observation and operation.
In operation
Monitoring operation state: During the process of picking up parts by the manipulator, the operator should pay close attention to its operation state, including whether the movement is stable, whether there is abnormal noise or vibration, etc. If any abnormality is found, stop the machine immediately for inspection, and then continue the operation after troubleshooting.
Pay attention to safety protection: strictly abide by the safety operation rules. When the manipulator is running, it is forbidden to put hands or other parts of the body into its work area to prevent accidental injuries. At the same time, ensure that safety protection devices, such as safety light curtain and emergency stop button, work normally.
Product quality inspection: after the mechanical hand picks up the parts, timely check the quality indexes such as appearance and size of the products to see if there are any defects such as missing materials, flash and deformation. If quality problems are found, the injection molding process should be adjusted in time or whether the picking action of the manipulator will affect the product.
Avoid collision: ensure that there are no obstacles in the movement path of the manipulator and keep a safe distance from the mold, workbench and other parts of the injection molding machine to prevent collision from damaging the equipment. At the same time, set a reasonable picking time and cycle to avoid conflicts with the opening and closing actions of the injection molding machine.
After operation
Cleaning and maintenance: After picking up the parts, clean up the residual plastic chips, oil stains and other sundries on the manipulator in time, and carry out necessary lubrication and maintenance on the manipulator to prolong its service life and ensure its stable performance.
Turn off the power supply: Turn off the power supply of the manipulator to avoid the aging of the electrical components or the accidental start-up caused by long-term electrification of the equipment, and also save energy.
Record and feedback: record the operation of the manipulator, the number of parts taken, fault information, etc., to provide reference for subsequent maintenance and equipment improvement. Feedback the problems and improvement suggestions found in the process of picking up the parts to relevant personnel in time.
