A brief introduction: the structure of the three-axis servo manipulator


Manipulator is a kind of automatic operation device which can imitate some action functions of hand and arm to grasp, carry objects or operate tools according to fixed procedures. It can replace heavy labor to achieve mechanization and automation of production, can operate in harmful environments to protect personal safety, and is widely used in machinery manufacturing metallurgical industry.

The manipulator is mainly composed of three parts: hand, motion mechanism and control system. The hand is a part used to hold the workpiece (or tool), according to the shape, size, weight, material and operation requirements of the object to be held and there are a variety of structural forms, such as clamping, holding and adsorption. The motion mechanism enables the hand to complete various rotations (swings), movements or compound movements to achieve specified movements and change the position and posture of the object being held. The independent motion mode of the moving mechanism, such as lifting, expanding and rotating, is called the degree of freedom of the manipulator. In order to grasp objects at any position and orientation in space, six degrees of freedom are required. The more degrees of freedom are the key parameters of manipulator design, the greater the flexibility of the manipulator, the wider the versatility, and the more complex its structure.

The manipulator has single, double, three and five axis robot hands, and the three-axis servo arm can be used in 400-4000 tons of various types of plastic injection molding machines. The main feature is that the finished arm is to take out the product and the water port, and the upper and lower arm structures are double-cut, which is usually used in the removal and placing of products in the injection molding industry and the workpiece handling in the industrial industry, which is actually a fast assembly line operation.

1, because the three-axis servo manipulator is mainly used in the work of participating in the assembly line, the requirements for its frequent, fast and accurate characteristics are very high, so the material is mainly designed with high steel, which can greatly reduce the vibration in the continuous work and extend its service life.

2, also in order to cope with this high frequency of work, the three-axis servo manipulator before and after, up and down with the cylinder drive, the arm is a high-precision linear slide, so that the manipulator is not only stable, low noise, high efficiency, accurate positioning, and very heat resistant, wear-resistant, not easily deformed.

3, large enterprises with a three-axis servo manipulator controlled by a microcomputer, not only has a very simple operating interface, but also very flexible configuration, through the above various configurable items, can apply to different factory production line on the various workpiece parameters.

4, the three-axis servo manipulator is modular design, whether in the movement or maintenance is very simple, as long as the components can be removed quickly for moving or maintenance operations.
