Modern injection molding machines are usually equipped with manipulators to improve production efficiency. Injection molding manipulator is an automatic production equipment that can mimic some functions of the human upper limb and automatically control it to transport products or operating tools in accordance with predetermined requirements for production and operation.
Injection molding manipulator is a mechanical equipment specially designed for injection molding machine production automation, which can reduce heavy manual labor, improve working conditions and safe production; Improve the production efficiency of injection molding machine, stabilize product quality, reduce scrap rate, reduce production costs, and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.
Manipulators for injection molding machines can be divided into the following two types:
1. The basic injection molding manipulator generally includes a fixed mode program and a teaching mode program according to the production process requirements. The fixed mode program covers several standard processes for injection molding production, using industrial controllers for simple, regular and repetitive actions. The teaching mode program is especially suitable for injection molding machines with special production processes, and achieves the purpose of successful extraction by arranging basic movements orderly and safely.
2. Intelligent injection molding robot, generally including multi-point memory placement, arbitrary point standby, more freedom and other functions, generally driven by servo, can carry out complex operations, can also be equipped with advanced sensors, so that it has visual, tactile and thermal functions, making it a highly intelligent injection molding robot.
The composition of the injection molding manipulator is generally composed of an execution system, a drive system, a control system, etc. The execution and drive system is mainly designed to complete the normal function of the arm, and the operation of the mechanical parts is driven by pneumatic or hydraulic power to achieve the fetching function. The control system controls the drive system to make the execution system operate according to the predetermined process, taking the control system of a simple manipulator as an example.
